
As school is about to return, it's still important to understand that school is a form of strain on young athletes (especially at exam time). This strain may not be obvious but is worthwhile to take into consideration and reduce training load during these times as priorities change.
When school holidays hit, it's an ideal time to begin increasing training volume with more time to sleep in, eat better, and generally be more relaxed.
