Find out where your young athlete is now—and what will help them improve.
It is not always easy to tell whether your child is making real progress.
They may be training hard, but are they getting faster, stronger, or moving better? And what should they focus on next?
The Inner Athlete Athletic Testing Combine gives you a clearer picture of your child’s current physical abilities.
We assess:
Sprint speed
Agility and change of direction
Upper and lower body power
Lower body strength
Mobility
After testing, your young athlete receives a personalised report showing their strengths, areas to improve, and practical recommendations for future training.
What this gives parents:
A clear starting point
Less guesswork around training
A better understanding of your child's strengths
Measurable results to track over time
Clear priorities for their development
Athletes can also compare selected results with teammates in areas such as speed, power, and fitness.
This service is ideal for young athletes involved in soccer, AFL, hockey, cricket, swimming, baseball, rugby, lacrosse, and track and field.

Help your young athlete build better habits.
Sporting performance is not only about strength, speed, or skill.
A young athlete’s routines, confidence, focus, recovery, and attitude can all affect how they perform and how much they enjoy their sport.
Our Performance Consultations look at how your child manages training, school, recovery, setbacks, and everyday responsibilities.
We then provide practical strategies they can actually use.
We can support young athletes with:
Focus and motivation
Training and school consistency
Confidence after setbacks
Goal-setting and routines
Personal responsibility
Building habits that last
What this gives parents:
A better understanding of what may be holding your child back
Practical tools to support them at home
More structure around training, school, and recovery
Greater confidence that your child is learning to take ownership
Support that extends beyond sport
This service is designed for young athletes aged 14 to 18 who are ready to become more involved in their own development.
Goals can give a young athlete direction. Good habits and consistent action help them keep moving forward.

Help your young athlete feel more confident in how they move.
When a young athlete feels stiff, restricted, or unsure of their body after an injury or setback, it can affect more than movement.
It can also affect their confidence, enjoyment, and willingness to train.
Activation is a hands-on movement and muscle assessment approach that looks at how the body is functioning and where additional support may be helpful.
Sessions may suit young athletes experiencing:
Ongoing stiffness or restricted movement
Difficulty moving comfortably
Reduced confidence after injury
Fatigue or inconsistent performance
Movement issues that may be affecting training
What this gives parents:
A clearer understanding of how your child is moving
More confidence around their return to training
Additional support alongside an existing training or recovery plan
Greater awareness of possible movement limitations
Better communication between parents, coaches, and healthcare providers
Activation sessions focus on movement, muscle function, and body awareness. They may complement your child’s broader training, recovery, or rehabilitation plan.
They do not replace medical diagnosis, physiotherapy, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional. Where appropriate, we may recommend speaking with a doctor, physiotherapist, or other registered health professional.
Help your young athlete move forward with more confidence and a clearer plan.
